About

Hello hello! My name is Anna, I’m just a gal in Northwest Indiana that enjoys all things, healthy, healing, delicious, and nutritious. I believe God created the world in such a beautiful way to provide us with all that we need from the clothes on our back to the food that we eat. Though I believe traditional medicine has its benefits for certain things at certain times, from my personal experience I know that food can be the greatest medicine. I have had GI problems ever since high school and I have yet to know exactly what it is going on with my body. However, after many tests and different doctors, all that I have found to help me has been adapting my diet. I have done a lot of research on my own to figure out what is healing and what is harmful to me personally and have come across a lot of information about how the food industry has abused the land and the food that we consume to make it cheaper for them and in turn more harmful for us.

A ton of the general information given about what is healthy and was is not is misleading and confusing. A lot of people I come across ask me, ” Why are so many people allergic to bread now?” “Why is organic better?”  “Aren’t GMO’s helping to stop hunger?” “What does an organic chicken egg even mean?”  Which leads me to believe that I lot of people have no idea what is in the food that they consume and how it may be affecting their health. Many people don’t look into it until they have to and that to me is too late. That is why I want to share the information I come across and provide plant-based recipes to show that eating healthy doesn’t just mean having a salad, it’s so much more than that and it’s much more fun than that too.
